20 YEARS OF SEISMIC NOISE INVESTIGATION IN KAMCHATKA:FROM EXPERIMENTAL OBSERVATION TO EARTHQUAKE PREDICTION AND MODELING

20 years have passed since the beginning of investigation of high frequency seismic noise (HFSN) in Kamchatka. In given report the main stages of HFSN investigation are described. The results of HFSN used for search of earthquake precursors are generalized. Conceptual model for synchronization of HFSN and tidal potential before large earthquakes is proposed.
