Two
paroxysmal eruptions of Young Sheveluch occurred in February
27 and September 22, 2005, that followed by a growth of lava
domes. Field studies conducted by the IVS revealed the limit
of the pyroclastic and in-depth and lateral distribution of
the temperature in deposits. The GPS measurements and ASTER
satellite imagery allows to estimate the length, square and
volume of the pyroclastic deposits.
