Ferrum-manganese nodules from the World Ocean are characterized
by a complicated and polymineral composition and disseminated
mineral phases. As result traditional methods of mineral
diagnosis and a quantitave phase analysis are not attractive
for these objects. It should be use a complex of modern analytical
research methods. These methods include optical and electron
microscope, X-ray spectroscopy, IR- spectroscopy, Mossbauer
spectroscopy and different methods of element composition
determination. In specific case these methods are complimented
by a microprobe analysis and the magnetographe.
